I just realized this one is a lot like a previous one I did a few years ago.

I do recall that site from a while back. You know about those two researchers, anthropologists or pshycologists, who compiled every known facial muscle and expression into a large book?

Aha, I believe you’re speaking of Ekman’s work (http://www.paulekman.com). I saw him speak in May at a conference in Los Angeles. It was great. They did a spoof of “Inside the Actor’s Studio” but called it “Inside the Psychologist’s Studio” and he was interviewed by another very well known researcher. Paul Ekman’s done some really interesting research . . . think about some of the implications of being able to interpret the slightest facial movements . . . Law & Order has cited his stuff a couple of times now talking about how they can read facial movements of people in interviews, etc. Even more, think about the implications of being able to use facial movements not identified as natural for a situation . . . the act of purposeful deception!
