Concept, branding and collateral for the end-of-semester exhibit and workshop for CityStudio, a non-profit education experiment that connects students with City of Vancouver staff on applied sustainability problem solving. With a budget of $200 and a one-month turnaround I developed the pop identity, a metaphor that plays off the kernels of ideas the students bring to life through their group projects.
In addition to icons and mastheads for social media distribution the event collateral, which I expanded through pro-bono printer contacts, was produced in various mediums: promotional posters, event signage, larger-than-life cutouts (giant popcorn, salt shaker, sticks of butter), invitations, name tags, screen promos, handbills and popcorn sticky notes for brainstorming. We even served real popcorn.
I dubbed the evening session the Hullabaloo after party, and branded it accordingly.
