Scott buying coffee at Oso Negro in Nelson before heading out on Day 2.
Oso Negro coffee in Nelson, BC. Recommended.
View of the GPS navigator / DJ / Photographer / Videographer / Blogger office in Scott’s truck, heading over the near 1800 metre Salmo-Creston Pass.
Gas station in Creston, BC.
In Creston, too.
Our first snack break: an abandoned parking lot somewhere in Montana. Chips and Salsa provided by the Moms (Brad, your favourite brand, too).
Southern tip of Flathead Lake, Montana.
Sunset with gas stop (andh obligatory, ubiquitos) casino. We also bought a bottle of wine here. Missoula, Montana.
More casino/gas combos. This one before midnight just outside Butte, Montana. Not pictured: war driving for wifi and Scott Skyping his lady back home (Hi Jenny).
Gas prices.
Midnight in a rancher’s field off the highway, middle of nowhere, Montana. Scott here doing a dance to keep warm as we burn the last of the fuel to heat our instant noodles.
Not pictured: My first standard driving lessons; abandoning a second camp attempt due to cow proximity (picture pitch black with floating red eyes and ‘moooos’); finally crapping out from exhaustion at two in the morning and tenting it in a field near an underpass. Another note: this entry was written at 78 miles per hour in South Dakota.

That is not my favorite brand. I love all salsa but my favorite is: Mrs. Renfro’s Hot Habanero Salsa
Anyway, looks fun!
