Open Letter to the Family

Hey you two, not sure how much time you have on this interweb-thingy, but if you have a few minutes take a surfey around my new website. It’s the same address, https://jeffwerner.ca/testa, most of the same content, but more rad both above and under the hood. So it should, I spent the last four months on it.
Let me know what you think (be honest, relentless) and about any errors or things I should know. During the next few weeks I’m gonna clean up some behind-the-scenes stuff, add some new stuff; I’m also preparing a like five-part series (catered to web geeks) on the hows and whys of its construction.
Things are going well! I’m very stressed out! Constantly doing things, thinking about things, talking about things. Well, mainly design school and squash. Another squash tournament this weekend. Also have another graphic designer looking at my portfolio tomorrow (to give me pointers). A number of calendars and course guides I requested were mailed to me this week from design schools, including Victoria School of Art (where I may take drawing lessons this spring) and Emily Carr (who sent a damn-fine magazine-style guide).
Learning to draw is going great. Totally liking it, bought some pencils and a sketchbook, been drawing buildings and faces and bananas; at least an hour of drawing a day. And I’ve talked with, and showed my work to, some artist friends and they gave me some great tips and even some supplies. Talking to everyone with an opinion about design and design school.
Financially I am a bum. Must find job…soon…pay for monitor, racquet…buy groceries and…shoes. Speaking of unexpected expenses, I paid off the rest of that mysterious interest on my student loan. WTF eh, but it should ALL be taken care of now. (Moms, WTF means What the Frickinghell).
Looking forward to seeing both of you at Christmas (unless the Brother sets aside 0.5 hours to have lunch or something before then),
Your Son and Sibling,
Jeff
