The theme was \u201cFood and Eating\u201d an interdisciplinary topic relevant to studies in design but also social and economic issues, sustainability and health. The charrette coincided with a number of course assignments in the department as well as the lecture series \u201cEat Me, Drink Me!\u201d presented by the Critical + Cultural Studies department.<\/p>\n<p>The day began with a kick-off guest lecture followed by a design brief, an extended, collaborative work session and ended with dinner celebrations and final presentations:
